We know that you are all anxious to know what our plans are for school in the Fall. Please know that the plan will be shared as soon as it is approved by the State.
New York State will release guidelines for reopening schools this week. After they do, we will submit our final plan to the state on July 31. The state will determine if we can open for the Fall during the first week of August.
Please read the document attached for a full account on what our preliminary thoughts for the Fall Reopening will look like in September.
Depending on how many families choose to opt for a full remote program, and if the State guidelines allow full remote, we may be able to offer more days of instruction for early childhood grades (kindergarten and first grade). To determine this, we need some information to create a final plan.
